Payless Timbers, based in Tolga in the beautiful Cairns region, is owned and operated by Jeff and Cindy Macdonald. Originally from the mid-west United States, Jeff and Cindy moved to the Tablelands in 1984 and saw a chance to meet the growing demand for sustainably harvested timber.


Ever since, we’ve been supplying high-quality timber products to educational and health facilities, local, state and federal government buildings, Australian embassies, Indigenous and Torres Strait communities, specialty shops, retail developments, sporting clubs, military housing, movie productions and more.
